The export volume and export amount of pepper in our country are increasing year by year
During the period of 2018-2020, the export volume and export amount of China's pepper showed an increasing trend year by year. In 2020, China's pepper exports were 112,400 tons, up 1.7% year-on-year; Exports amounted to $105.97 million, up 8.9% year on year.
Recently, Zou Shuo, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out at the second China Digital pepper Industry Development Conference that digital technology is of great significance to the development of the pepper industry, such as the prevention and control of pepper pests and diseases, the integration of water and fertilizer, and precise seedling cultivation, which can make pepper more accurately obtain the conditions required for its growth through digital technology, and effectively improve the yield and quality of pepper.
